MYSHOPI PRIVACY STATEMENT

1. Introduction

The website www.myshopi.com and the mobile application myShopi (hereinafter referred to as "myShopi") are offered by Agilys SA, a Belgian company having its registered office at Chaussée de Nivelles 81, 1420 Braine-l'Alleud registered with company and VAT number (BE)0828.907.065 ("Agilys", "us", "we" or any similar expression). The user of myShopi ("user", "you", "your", or any similar expression) can contact us via the "Contact" tab on myShopi or by sending an email to info@myshopi.com

The current myShopi privacy statement (the "Privacy Statement") is applicable to the processing of your personal data when you have access to and make use of myShopi. We take data protection very seriously. We guarantee to offer on adequate level of protection of your personal data. For this, we comply with the Belgian act of 8 December 1992 in relation to the protection of privacy with regard to the processing of personal data (hereinafter referred to as the "Privacy Act").

2. Acceptance of the agreement

The Privacy Statement should be read together with the other terms applicable to accessing and using myShopi, such as our Terms of Use and our Cookie Policy. The documents to which there is referred in this paragraph, are collectively referred as the "Agreement".

We strongly advise you to carefully read all documents of the Agreement, as these can contain provisions which may be of high importance to you, such as the way in which (including limitations) you may use myShopi, the way in which your personal data are being processed, etc.

By using myShopi, the user accepts the terms of this Agreement. In case you do not understand (part of) the Agreement, or do not agree with any part of it when reading the Agreement, you are requested not to use myShopi and the services which are offered on it.

It is not necessary to register when visiting myShopi. However, in order to use certain functionalities, you may be asked to register first. This is necessary in order to provide you with the requested service. In case of such registration you will again be explicitly asked to accept the Agreement.

Agilys has the right to change or modify the Agreement at any time without prior notice to the user. As a result, please always verify whether you have consulted the latest version of the Agreement and that you agree with its contents. The date on which the terms were last modified is indicated at the top of each relevant document.

3. When do we process and use your personal data?

3.1. When visiting myShopi

The following information will be collected by us when you visit myShopi:

  • your IP address
  • the website from which you request access to myShopi
  • the pages you visit on myShopi
  • date, time and duration of your visit to myShopi
  • http response code
  • all information which is voluntarily provided by you
  • information on your browser and you configuration system
Without registering on myShopi, there are other possibilities where you would provide us with your personal data, such as when you contact us or when you subscribe to our newsletter (in this case you will provide us with your email address). In case you wish to unsubscribe to our newsletter, you are invited to follow the appropriate instructions which are indicated below each newsletter.

3.2. Registration on myShopi

To make use of certain functionalities, it is possible that you are requested to register on myShopi and to create an account. Upon registering, you are requested to provide us with your email address and a password.

In order to complete your account, you must subsequently complete certain information in order to allow us to provide you with the service. This information is:

  • your first name and surname
  • your date of birth
  • your sex
  • your zip code
  • your mobile phone number
  • your bank account number
Without this information we cannot finalize your registration and you will not be able to make use of the services for which you need to own a finalized account.

4. Why do we use your personal data?

The above data which you provide us with, will not be transferred to third parties, except where and to the extent otherwise provided below. We use this information solely to provide you with the services you wish to visit or use and to improve the offer on myShopi.

In order to offer these services, we may make use of the services provided by third parties (such as hosting providers). These parties may only process the personal data which you provide, for the performance of their assignment. They are equally bound by the provisions of the Privacy Act. You expressly consent that we may transfer your data to third party service providers, even when these are not established within the European Economic Area.

In addition, we may also share your data with entities which form part of our corporate group and this to allow us to provide you with personalized offers, both online and offline, based on your preferences on myShopi.

5. Do I have a right to object to the storing of my data?

You have the right, free of charge, to obtain information on how we process your personal data. By virtue of the Privacy Act you also have the right to demand a correction of your personal data when these are inaccurate. In addition, within the limits of the Privacy Act, you also have the right to ask for erasure of your personal data and to ask that data are no longer used, in case these data are incomplete or no longer relevant.

In order to exercise the above rights, you can contact us via the contact details provided under 1. Moreover, in case you are a registered user, you can also yourself correct your personal data via your account. You are at all times responsible for the accuracy of the data provided.

6. What are cookies and how are they used?

On myShopi we will make use of so-called "cookies". A cookie is a small file sent by a website owner to the hard disk of the website visitor where it will be stored. Using this cookie, the address of the visited website is recorded as well as some other data in relation to your visit which allow us to obtain some statistical information.
