2. What are cookies?

“Cookies” are small information files that are temporarily or permanently stored on your computer or device by a website server through your browser.
Cookies contain a unique code that allows your browser to be recognised during your current visit (a “session” cookie) or during future visits (a “permanent” cookie).

Cookies simplify, complete and personalise the use of a website.

3. Use of cookies on myShopi

myShopi uses several types of cookies:

• Necessary cookies

These cookies are essential to visit myShopi and to use certain parts of it. They allow you, for example, to navigate between different sections of myShopi or to complete forms. If you refuse these cookies, certain parts of myShopi will not function, or will not function optimally.

• Functional cookies

Functional cookies make the operation of myShopi easier and more pleasant, and ensure that you enjoy a more personalised browsing experience. These cookies, for example, remember your language preferences or register whether you have already been asked to participate in a survey so you do not receive repeated invitations.

• Statistical cookies

These cookies collect information about how visitors use myShopi, such as the pages visited, the general duration of visits, or the number of error messages displayed, in order to analyse and optimise the use and functioning of myShopi.
Google Analytics is used for such analyses.

• Advertising cookies

When you use myShopi, cookies may be installed and read on your computer or device by third parties such as affiliates and advertisers working with BD Media for advertising on myShopi. These are advertising cookies.
They are used in particular to display relevant and personalised ads, limit the number of times an ad is shown, or measure the effectiveness of an advertising campaign.

In addition, data collected using Google Analytics may also be used for remarketing and Google Ads campaigns.
More information on how Google uses your data can be found in Google Policies.

• Social Media cookies

Through Facebook applications, Facebook gains insight into your browsing behaviour on our website (Facebook Pixel).
For more information about the use of cookies and other scripts by Facebook, please consult the Facebook Cookie Policy.

4. Managing cookies

Through your browser settings, you can refuse the installation of cookies. You may also delete already installed cookies from your computer or mobile device at any time.
More information about managing cookies can be found at www.allaboutcookies.org (in English), or you may always contact us for further questions (see our contact details under section 1).
